Dippy on Tour: A Natural History Adventure
The Natural History Museum’s famous Diplodocus, known as Dippy, is touring the UK from early 2018, and Dorset County Museum has been chosen as the first host venue!
Dippy will be at Dorset County Museum from Saturday 10 February 2018 – Monday 8 May 2018. Entry is FREE, and pre-booking is strongly advised.
Battens will also be bringing along the Charity they sponsored at their annual Volleyball Competition; Nina and Roger Hanger will do a presentation for Hanger Heroes, which registered as a charity in December 2008, after the success of Challenge and Black and White ball, raising funds for Friends of the M.V.Freedom. It was then decided to extend support to more small charities and not for profit organisations with the name changing to Hangers Heroes in 2010. http://www.hangersheroes.co.uk/
