We have two fantastic guest speakers for this event: \n\nMatthew Piles\, Director of Place Services\, Dorset Council\, his presentation will focus on Energising Dorsets Economy\n\nDorset’s economy is being revitalised through the ambitious “Energising Dorset” initiative\, which focuses on clean energy\, infrastructure regeneration\, and innovation. the county aims to lead in offshore wind\, hydrogen\, and carbon capture\, while creating thousands of skilled jobs. A key part of this strategy is the regeneration of Weymouth\, transforming it into a vibrant hub for tourism\, housing\, and green industry. This initiative also supports rural enterprise and digital innovation\, positioning Dorset as a dynamic\, sustainable economy ready for the future.\n\n\n\n\n Richard Hale\, Director of Inspiring Heritage will be talking about his current work:\n\nFocusing on some exciting new developments. Ongoing discussions focused on tourism. Several projects in the pipeline and where these will lead.\n\n\n\nThe event is open for anyone to attend\, including Chamber members and non members.
