Led by member and local man Sean Phelps, Changing Tides Row will take on the mission of rowing 3200 miles across the Atlantic ocean in January 2026 for mental health awareness and charities. Sean and friend Jonny, form the two person team and are both former Royal Marine Commandos. They are passionate about mental wellbeing and talking about life’s ups and downs as well as reducing the number of people dying by suicide. Changing Tides are raising life-changing funds for Samaritans of Dorset and Care after Combat, and raising awareness of the services both charities provide to people who are struggling.
