Blanchards Bailey LLP strengthens support for Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce

Dorset law firm Blanchards Bailey LLP is continuing its support for Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce for a second year, with an expanded sponsorship arrangement that will also see the firm become the Chamber’s Honorary Solicitors.

As part of the renewed sponsorship, Blanchards Bailey will continue to contribute speaking slots at Chamber breakfast events, while also introducing two longer seminar sessions for members for the first time.

The seminars will allow for more focused discussion on issues affecting businesses across Weymouth and Portland, with topics likely to include commercial property, employment matters and estate planning.

The expanded arrangement also reflects Blanchards Bailey’s growing presence in the town following recent expansion by moving its Weymouth office to larger premises at Oxford Court, Cambridge Road, on Granby Trading Estate.

Dominique Manasseri, President of Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce and owner of Oliveto, said: “We are delighted that Blanchards Bailey is continuing its support of the Chamber for a second year and extending that involvement through its new role as our Honorary Solicitors.

“The addition of dedicated seminar sessions alongside the breakfast speaking programme is a very positive step. It gives members access to more detailed discussion on important business issues and adds further value to the Chamber’s events and support for local businesses.”

Paul Dunlop, Managing Partner of Blanchards Bailey LLP, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our support for Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce and to be building on that relationship through this extended programme.

“Combining breakfast speaking slots with specialist seminars allows us to share legal insight in a way that is both accessible and more focused. We are also delighted to be named the Chamber’s Honorary Solicitors and look forward to working closely with members over the coming year.”

The arrangement forms part of the Chamber’s wider work to provide members with relevant events, useful connections and informed insight on key business issues.
