Rather than listing hundreds of properties, we personally select each cottage to ensure it offers something genuinely special, whether that’s a spectacular waterfront setting, stunning interiors, family-friendly facilities, or memorable places to relax and reconnect.

Founded by Ian and Shona Bates, Curated Cottages combines local knowledge with a genuinely personal approach. Having lived in Dorset for many years, we love sharing the places we enjoy, from hidden beaches and scenic coastal walks to independent cafés, award-winning restaurants and some of Dorset’s lesser-known attractions. Through our growing Explore Dorset guides, we help guests experience the county like locals.
