Philip started the party shop years ago but only part time but after a huge increase in business during lockdown, he wanted an industrial unit but he saw the shop in Spa Road and opened it over 3 years ago.

“Before the party shop I had been working in Weymouth for a number of years, I used to manage the Dixons in St Marys Street years ago, the Royal Standard in Upwey and many other pubs around the area.

Due to my experience in the pub trade I have used that to build my party business, I hold of 30,000 balloons in stock and everything needed for your party or event, I make balloon arches and displays for local businesses and events, I work with some local Wedding venues and can supply so much more, I have a large prop hire department including crazy golf courses, giant garden games like Connect 4 and Jenga, light up numbers and LOVE letters, chair covers, mirrors and suit cases, pick n’ mix stands, and more sweet and donut stands, red carpets, Light up Question mark for gender reveals and so much more and I even hold 1000’s of fancy dress items.”
