Excellent Breakfast Meeting at Nothe Fort.

Superb breakfast once again from the Nothe Fort and our thanks to Steve Booth for his help in the organisation.

Richard Bugler, the Managing Partner, from our sponsors Albert Goodman found himself somewhat limited in presenting on the Autumn Budget as there wasn’t one and with the state of flux we’re in mid election and pre or not Brexit, he kept his talk very brief. Richard did highlight the information on the Dorset Chamber website for all those with Brexit business issues, links to which we have on our website. https://www.wpchamber.co.uk/?s=brexit

Amelia Warr announced the Autism Friendly Awards with Westfield Arts College, Weymouth Town Centre Manager and Weymouth Town Council working together. Amelia said “We want to transform Weymouth into an inclusive, family friendly location for all”. Amelia explained the four objectives:  Customer Experience, Customer Information, Staff Training – promoting understanding and the Physical environment. All businesses are encouraged to enter the Awards and more information can be found in the members news section.

Our Keynote speaker was Mickey Jones, a long standing member of the Chamber with his company DJ Contracts and now presenting on his involvement with South Dorset Business Advisory Panel of which more information can be found under the separate News section here:- https://www.wpchamber.co.uk/business-leaders-form-new-advisory-panel-with-dorset-council/
