SaveTheHighStreet.org – COVID 19 Recovery & Resilience Health Check Survey

Introducing SaveTheHighStreet.org —  COVID 19 Recovery & Resilience Health Check Survey!

In the light of high streets beginning to plan for re-opening, we are evaluating what businesses are doing, could be doing and should be doing to ensure the are resilient during the pre-recovery and recovery phases of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Through March-May 2020, SaveTheHighStreet.org, with input from dozens of successful independents and industry experts, evaluated hundreds of business strategies for the Coronavirus-era high street.

This survey covers the most important strategies for high street business owners right now, across 6 key themes:

1.      Reducing your costs
2.      Selling in new ways
3.      Adapting your marketing
4.      Collaborating as a high street
5.      Preparing for the future
6.      Funding your business

The whole survey takes 11 minutes on average to complete and every business that completes it will receive the following personalised support for FREE:

  • A Health-Check report and scores, highlighting vulnerabilities and opportunities across their business.
  • 6 top recommendations selected for them, each with engaging content, step-by-step guides and more.
  • A telephone call with an expert consultant to discuss their report and recommendations (optional and for the first 1,000 responses)

Most importantly, we are also planning to anonymise and aggregate the data to give details insights into the health of our high street businesses, focussing primarily on the independent sector. These will be produced at UK, Regional, County, City and District and BID level where requested.

As an example, we will be looking at trading status, offline/online sales patterns, financial vulnerabilities, skills gaps, digital health, procurement, fulfilment, demand, catchment, health and safety compliance and more.
