Big Bang @ Dorset 2020 – 5.00pm to 7.30pm March 18th 2020

Following the success of the first Big Bang @ Dorset event In 2019 hosted by Dorset Council at The Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset Council is delighted to confirm that the event will be repeated at this impressive venue, with this year’s Big Bang @ Dorset Fair taking place on 18 March 2020.

During the day over 2000 students from specific primary and secondary schools will attend, and excitingly, this year Dorset Council has included a free of charge evening session, which is open to students from any school or college, with their parent / carer. While the event is aimed at 10-16 years olds, we welcome all ages with their parents/carers.

Big Bang is a programme of UK-wide events that get students excited about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects) with a wide range of careers information available from local and national employers. During your time at the Big Bang @Dorset you will be able to:

Try out hands-on exhibits, and speak to local and national employers and apprentices in different STEM areas who are passionate about inspiring children’s future careers

Find out about Apprenticeships at 20 minute talks at 5.30pm and 6.30pm

Gain careers advice from a qualified career guidance team.
