Our well attended April breakfast zoom meeting started with a welcome from our President Craig.
Followed by a brief overview of what Craig and the Chamber are working on….
- Craig has been working with the local Echo on a project.
- Plans are progressing for a joint lunch meeting with Dorchester Chamber in July and;
- We have two projects in development: A networking/Zoom event and an Ask The Expert Button for our website
With the great news regarding the Prime Ministers announcement and the Lockdown relief/road map being on track, we had a quick once “around the room” to ask attendees what they are most looking forward to in the coming weeks with the format being – Who you are, What you do and What are you looking forward to. The general consensus is that we cant wait to be able to interact with people properly once again.
We then moved on to the main event. Managing Partner, Richard Bugler of meeting sponsors and chamber accountants, Albert Goodman, gave us engaging presentation on last month’s Budget announcements and what they mean for businesses in 2021, a copy of Richard’s presentation can be viewed here
