Weymouth Station Gateway – have your say.

Dear Weymouth Businesses and Community Organisations from Dorset Coast Forum

Weymouth train station is set to see some significant improvements over the next two years that we hope will create a more welcoming place for visitors and residents as part of a successful bid to the South Western Railway Customer and Communities Improvement Fund (SWR CCIF). This is being led by Dorset Coast Forum in partnership with Dorset Council, Weymouth BID, Public Health Dorset and Weymouth Town Council.

The aim is to transform the first impressions of Weymouth station to be an attractive, welcoming, safe, and user friendly public space. Not sure if you are aware of this project yet, however part of my role will be to conduct the business, stakeholder and public consultations. I’m sure that you will agree this is a worthwhile project in an area that needs development.

Dorset Coast Forum and partners are developing the Weymouth Station Gateway Project to transform the train station forecourt into an attractive, welcoming, safe and modern public space for the community and for visitors.

As part of this project, we are keen to hear the views of businesses and community organisations based in Weymouth on how you use the area and what you would like to see happen to help improve the space. This is your chance to have your say and input into the development of this exciting project.

Please click on the link below to see more information about the project and complete a survey.

Have Your Say Here

The closing date for the Business and Community organisation consultation is Sunday 9th August 2020.

Please feel free to forward to other businesses, however, please note that the wider public community will have the opportunity to have their say too in a separate survey this summer.
